My thanks to the new roomie Mustaqim@Ah Chong and Liyana, our batch of new college mates here in Tun Mamat for finally helping me to get on Blogspot with the help of an oblong singular white piece of plastic.


Ahh Technology.


The news is out folks, Maths & Science is English will be gone by 2012. They're already scrapping it piece by piece as to complete the 2012 deadline. The news is that instead of MSE, they are going back to square zero with Bahasa Malaysia as the medium of instruction for Maths & Science and placing English as a passing requirement for SPM.


Its been a 6 year melodramatic rollercoaster ride that has been politicezed waaay out of poportion. You can't read the papers, go online (Facebook, "Anda Sayang BM? Mansuh PPSMI!" ROFL Wankers), TV or talking to people without hearing PPSMI and all that Hoop-lah.

Personally, i dont give a single dingo's kidney about what or how they're going to go about with this new bombshell, im waay over high school and my kids (Granted i have a family one day) will ndure the same thing i endured when i was a kid; English at home.

Im going to touch a few nerves here but it is solely on the principle of neutrality and the fact you pathetic wankers who keep whoring at Facebook about this issue are annoying me.


PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SCRAP MSE ARE PITILIESS WANKERS WHO SCREW UP THEIR ENGLISH PAPER BACK IN SPM OR WHO ARE SOO BAD IN COMMUNICATING IN ENGLISH THAT THEY WANT EVERYBODY TO BE LIKE THEM, SO FARK MSE!

SCRAPPING MSE ISNT GOING TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF ENGLISH PROFICIENTCY AMONG THE KIDS NOR IS IT GOING TO IMPROVE MATHS & SCIENCE THAT THEY HAVE BEEN EMPHASIZING ALL ALONG. MSE NEEDS TO BE REVIEWED NOT SCRAPPED!

DRAGGING BACK THE KIDS TO SQUARE ZERO IS NOT THE WAY TO GO, EVEN IF YOU HAVE 5 BILLION RINGGIT (MONEY WHICH I MUST SAY, A. HARD TO COME BY & B. ABSURD!) TO BACK IT UP.

OUR KIDS ARE ALREADY DUMBING TO A LEVEL THAT HAS NEVER BEEN SEEN BEFORE IN THE HISTORY OF THE COUNTRY AND IT SCARES THE SHIT OUT OF ME TO THINK HOW THE ZARKQUANS ARE WE GOING TO DEAL WHEN THE PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA IN THE FUTURE CAN'T SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH.

I AGREE IN PRINCIPLE THAT THE LEVEL OF ENGLISH AMONG OUR KIDS ISN'T A RECORD WE CAN BE PROUD OF, BUT ITS NOT THE FAULT OF MSE. THE SYLLABUS FOR ENGLISH FOR UPSR-PMR-SPM LEVES SHOULD BE REVIEWED IN LINE WITH WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE; BETTER COMMAND OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE AMONG THE KIDS.

MAKING IT A PASSING REQUIREMENT FOR SPM ISN'T GOING TO DO THAT IF YOU CAN'T COME UP WITH QUALIFIED TEACHERS OR A GOOD SOLID SYLLABUS. HECK! EVEN THE GOVERNMENT THEMSELVES ARE BEGGING HELP FROM RETIRED FORMER ENGLISH TEAHCERS TO COME BACK TO TEACH, ALL OF THEM WHO HAD BEEN EDUCATED WITH ENGLISH AS THE PRIMA-LINGUA INSTRUTIA (POST PENYATA RAZAK ERA).


TAKING AWAY MSE IS NOT THE ANSWER, NOR IS MAINTAINING STATUS QUO. WHAT WE NEED RIGHT NOW IS TO TAKE A SEAT AND REVIEW THE DAMNED MSE THING AND FIND WAYS TO IMPROVE IT, NOT TO ACCOMODATE BLOODY POLITICIANS AND LOBBY GROUPS (READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH OF EMOTIONAL OUTBURST).

WE NEED EDUCATORS AND TEACHER ON THIS ISSUE NOT MOTHER-FARKING POLITICIANS WHO DIDNT EVEN PASS MUET FOR THE LOVE OF BLIZTNAG!

THE STATUS OF BAHASA MALAYSIA IS NOT BEING JEAPORDISED BY MSE. FAULTS WITH THE LEVEL OF BAHASA MALAYSIA CAN BE DIRECTLY BLAMED UPON FACTORS LIKE THE EMERGENCE OF ROJAK MALAY WHICH HAS BEEN UNDER THE NOSES OF MOST OF THESE POLITICIANS, HECK! THEY USE IT MORE OFTEN IN PARLIMENT TOO! LOOK AT OUR MOVIES, NEWSPAPERS, TELEVISION SHOWS AND WHAT NOT. HOW MANY OF THEM ARE OF THE BONA-FIDE BAHASA MALAYSIA?
